This site, previously occupied by a tired old villa, had seen better days. It was past its use-by date!
The brief to the architect was to design two contemporary coastal apartments, one level each. Both with large outdoor areas to enjoy the amazing views and allow great flow into the fresh and roomy interiors.
The owners particularly wanted to embrace and celebrate the extraordinary views over the boatyard, Evans Bay, and the hills beyond.
High-spec finishes were specified for the interiors with lovely natural-coloured feature walls and curtains.
Separate garages for each dwelling each have lift access.
The exterior is dark stained cedar, with dark bronze window joinery and subtle feature screens, giving this building a timeless, relaxed and elegant look.
