Launched in 1998 by Scott Feasey
Scotty’s Construction has grown into an award-winning company (including House of the Year) with 15+ employees.
We have the experience and skills to help with your project. Bring us in as advisors from day one and we’ll make sure your vision is realised, within your budget and to a high quality standard, whether you’re renovating your kitchen or designing your dream home.
As members of the Registered Master Builders Association, and trusted and respected by architects, designers and clients in Wellington and across New Zealand, we have worked on projects ranging from brewery and dental surgery fitouts, to residential renovations and $2 million homes.
We believe in clear communication and good relationships. We understand that new projects can be daunting, and we’ll take the stress out of your planning.
Scott Feasey – Owner and Director
Scott loves all things related to tools and construction, and has been building for as long as he can remember. In fact, at age five he won a class award for building a chair out of scraps of wood.
With over 30 years of building experience in London, Auckland and Wellington, Scott is passionate about delivering high quality residential, commercial and interior fitout projects.
Scott has built strong, honest relationships with many local architects and clients while encouraging his teams to deliver the highest quality construction.
He was a member of the executive Master Builders team in Wellington from 2008 – 2015, and since 2011 has been a voluntary convenor of the annual Wellington Registered Master Builders Apprentice of the Year programme.
Scott is also fascinated by innovation and sustainability, and regularly attends international seminars to source new ideas and methods.
Despite his growing team and expanding business, Scott keeps an eagle eye on the details and still enjoys driving tip trucks when he can.
Doug Lusty – Project Manager
After qualifying as a carpenter in Levin in 2007, Doug spent a year traveling around Europe and worked for a joinery company in northern Scotland. Doug has worked for Scotty’s Construction since 2015. He is currently studying extramurally for a Diploma in Construction, majoring in Quantity Surveying and Project Management, with the goal of completing a degree. He also has three children and is “attempting to major in Parenthood”.
