An award-winning character home renovation in Thorndon
This Thorndon worker’s cottage had seen better days when its new owner approached Scotty’s Construction during the planning stages of the renovation.
The existing character home was rundown and required substantial work to create a comfortable, functional place to live while retaining the qualities that made the original cottage distinctive.
Scotty’s Construction introduced the client to a local designer and worked collaboratively through the project to bring the renovation together. The house was gutted and extended, creating the opportunity to update the interior, improve the layout and give the ageing property a new lease on life.
